We grow a wide variety of crops using only organic fertilizers and composts that we get locally and from the farm.
Our cultivation practices are evolving, but never do we rely on chemical herbicides or pesticides. We rarely even have pest problems anymore which might be attributable to our healthy soils, diversity of crops, and crop rotations.
Blueberries are available for U-PICK and at farmers markets.
We currently grow four varieties that come in at different times throughout the summer to ensure fresh berries the entire season. First harvest usually starts in mid-June.
Our main grape right now is a Suffolk table grape - A very sweet, seedless variety.
We've been dabbling with a few hives for 3 seasons now, with some great successes and recently, some disappointments unfortunately. Each year brings new knowledge and opportunity.
We subscribe to the treatment-free philosophy, with the goal being to encourage genetically superior local bees that do not require pesticide treatments and sugar feedings, which are recommended by agricultural agencies and most commercial beekeepers.
